Hillsides Education Center

Hillsides Education Center, located on our main campus, is a therapeutic residential and day school that offers individualized education for students with social-emotional, learning, and/or behavior challenges.  Our staff of committed teachers help students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade refocus their energies and achieve newfound academic success through small classes, personalized attention, and progressive lesson plans. Children also have access to psychological counseling, music, art, speech therapy, and specialized resources.  The combination of academic and clinical support allows students to find growth not only within, but outside the classroom.  Our staff helps them develop problem-solving skills, work cooperatively, become more aware of their feelings, think creatively, and build positive images of themselves that will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Our Education Center contracts with more than 20 school districts in Southern California for residential, day student, and in-district mental health support, allowing us to advocate for and impact the lives of hundreds of vulnerable children and families.
